Leaderboard rules

PoG platform rankings use verified Rainbow Six Siege match records stored in the platform database. Their purpose is transparent competitive context—not public shaming or a complete judgement of player value.

Player rating

Player Rating is the average counted match rating. The current alpha formula is intentionally simple and should be treated as a starting point for the alpha platform.

Single-match formula

0.75 + kills x 0.055 + assists x 0.025 - deaths x 0.035 + result modifier + round difference modifier

  • Minimum 5 counted matches to rank
  • Result modifier: win +0.08, draw 0.00, loss -0.05
  • Round difference modifier: round difference x 0.01, capped from -0.08 to +0.08
  • Final single-match rating is capped from 0.30 to 2.00
  • K/D, kills per match and assists per match are supporting metrics, not the whole ranking

Team points

Team Points measure verified team results from platform matches. The MVP model keeps scoring simple while tournament-specific formats are still being built.

Match draw

Match loss

  • Minimum 3 counted matches to rank
  • Ties sort by win rate, round difference, match count and latest activity

Time windows

  • Previous Season

  • Last 90 Days
  • Last 30 Days
  • All Time

Evidence boundary

The public table uses traceable platform records and deliberately excludes signals that would be private, incomplete or misleading.

What counts

Records traceable to platform matches, tournament matches and reported player stats.

  • Verified platform data only
  • Player stats count from match_player_stats rows
  • Team standings count both sides of a match when both teams are linked
  • Entries below the threshold remain visible as unranked

What does not count

Internal, private or unverified numbers that would distort a public comparison.

  • No removed stats such as entry kills, entry deaths, plants, defuses, clutches or notes
  • No public earnings leaderboard during alpha
  • No private profiles, private teams or unverified claims
  • No hidden manual boost without documented rule changes

Public presentation

The public table leads with final rating and points. Detailed formulas stay here so profiles remain readable and do not become hostile score spreadsheets.

  • Rating is context, not a player-worth score
  • Prize money belongs on tournament pages and official announcements
  • Formula changes should be documented before they affect rankings
  • Admin corrections should be traceable through audit logs
